板垣恵介による漫画作品で、1991年から開始している「刃牙シリーズ」の第6部。秋田書店の漫画雑誌「週刊少年チャンピオン」2023年39号より連載スタート。 本作の「刃牙らへん」というタイトルは前作「バキ道」のラスト2話で既に使われており、その際は主人公・範馬刃牙の周りの人物(愚地独歩やピクル、ビスケット・オリバなど)を指す単語として使われていた。 その事からは本作は刃牙の周りの人物を描く物語になる事が予想される。 物語はジャック・ハンマーが、かつて愚地独歩や宮本武蔵と戦った現代の剣豪・佐部京一郎九段と対決する所から始まる。 前作で噛道を極め二代目野見宿禰に勝利したジャック・ハンマーはどの様な活躍を見せてくれるのだろうか？そして同作の最終回で匂わせた古代人・ピクルとの再戦は叶うのであろうか？今後の展開に期待したい
